La luz. The light.

Light can be melancholic in a twilight over the sea.
Glad and optimistic in a clear winter day.
Depressing and ruthless in the hospital, in prison, in the stations at night.
Mysterious and dismail when going through the fog in the woods.
Light can also be Art.
The Germans Cenci Goepel and Jens Warnecke have fascinated me with the fantastic worlds in miniature, that they create in their photos always inspired in the light.
There are really beautiful pictures, full of imagination and for me, very musical.
I strongly recomend their website: Lightmark.
These photos have music…can you hear it?

Austin Bella Corda Guitar Ensemble

¡Muchas felicidades!
¡Desde España os deseo muchos éxitos!

¿Qué es el éxito? What is success?

In these times, we are used to link professional success with happiness.
Every day we see in the media that is a mistake: celebrities who have reached the top in their profession and they have everything they want at the material way, are extremely unhappy while money and fame destroying their lives.
Theoretically, they have succeeded in life, but, what does succeed mean?
Succeed means achieving what we want in life, so we fight, for what we live, so we work.
We decided our goal.
For a doctor can be get a job in the best hospital in New York, for a musician to get a seat at the most prestigious orchestra, for another, to age placidly next to the loved person while watching their children grow, can be a win in the casino, having a house with a garden, for a shepherd in the mountains return to the satisfaction of not having lost none of his sheep, for a poor, eat every day …
There are so many goals and paths to pursue success and happiness as individuals.
I think that find happiness can be much simpler than it looks and I prefer the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson:
«Success is getting what you want, happiness is appreciate what you have»

El agua. The water.

Every time I am more convinced than watch calmly the water while flows have therapeutic powers and could cure diseases of the spirit like the sadness and melancholy.
Looking water, while the sun draws stars on its surface, we find calm to watch life with new eyes, with peace, with optimism.
The composers can learn a lot from it.
Its relationship with the space-time is similar to music: water slides before our eyes in a unique and unrepeatable moment, as the music.
It may be quiet, bright, hectic, happy, sad …
As our lives, all flowing toward a common fate, which can not escape, we call it death but we should call fullness.
